Is it true that you shouldnt brush your hair when its wet?

Ive always wondered about this.

Somebody told me that it will break, since its fragile when wet.

If your not suppose to brush it when its wet, how am I suppose to do that? My hair gets extremely tangled and a big poofy tangly mess on my head if I dont brush it. Are there any hair products that will keep my hair from becoming tangled? Is it true that you shouldnt brush your hair when its wet?
do not brush it, ( i have been doing research on hair and have found this out) You need to get a big toothed comb, separate the sections, and then comb them out.Is it true that you shouldnt brush your hair when its wet?
i heard you have to use a comb.

but my hair is extremely tangly after i take a shower too.

so i just start out with brushing my hair and then after it's all detangled use a comb

there are detangling sprays in salon stores everywhere. most of them work really good
no that is not true.

it is better to brush your hair when it is wet before it drys.

it is easier to brush wet tangles than it is dry tangles.
NO. You have to use a hair brush. Then a comb to straighten it out, then a blow dryer.
Their a product on the market called Johnson and Johnson No More tangles. its for kids. I have used it and it works great.
it's true if your hair is curly, because that will just make it frizzy
i have also heard that brushing it when it is wet is bad. I LOVE john frieda secret weapon. it is THE BEST product i have ever experienced in my life! just put it in while it's still wet. i have also heard that you can use a wide-tooth comb while it's wet.
You are supposed to use a wide toothed comb to comb it out. That is after you squeeze as much water out of it as possible. Also you can use a poduct called Glare made by Vivitone to help protect it. It has actual silk fibers in it that can strengthen the hair. You can purchase glare at any professional salon.
yes its bad to brush your hair when its wet, but that doesnt mean you have to wait till your hair gets dry. you just wait until your hair is not that wet anymore. thats what i do.
Not exactly. you can brush it when wet, but it will move the strands and make it frizz. If your hair dries slowly, you could scrunch it with a rough paper towel, then brush it slowly and carefully. That is what I do.
use a comb

ive found the loophole...haha

no you can brush it, just spray it with lots of leave in conditionerso it kina detangles itself.
I think that u should untangle it whens its wet because its better and less painful when u brush it when it gets dry. and mayb some detabgling spray or some leave in conditioner to help u with unknotting ur hair.
