Is there a less painful way to brush your hair after teasing?

I like to tease my hair but after i brush my hair, cause im trying to get out all the rats. But it is pretty painful, and i don't have a sensitive head either. Is there a less painful way to get it out, besides showering and washing it out cause that's just a pain in the butt and it ends up making my hair greasy from all the conditioner i use.Is there a less painful way to brush your hair after teasing?

And really all I do is spray on Tresemme detangler all over the teased parts and then brushing doesn't hurt at ALL. :)

if your hair is REALY THAT KNOTTYY.


i'd advise you to put water on it, put some conditioner


then gently hold that part of your hair and brush it carefully.

are you sure your washing ALL of the conditioner?


Make sure to thoroughly wash before you get outta the shower.
Use a vent brush with stiff, widely spaced ';bristles';. Start brushing at the bottom and work your way up a couple of inches at a time.
