After brushing your hair with a hairbrush,why does a piece of tin foil become attracted to the brush? Help!!!?

As the questions asks,please! This is for my science homework,and I have no clue! Thanks!After brushing your hair with a hairbrush,why does a piece of tin foil become attracted to the brush? Help!!!?
It is caused by static electricity.After brushing your hair with a hairbrush,why does a piece of tin foil become attracted to the brush? Help!!!?
its called STATIC a build up of electrical energy
Static Electricity. IT also works with a plastic comb or a wooden ruler and small pieces of paper. It is also what gives you a shock when you slide on a car seat and touch the door or rub your shoes (not rubber soles) on the carpet and touch someone
static electricity
Free electrons being moved by nylon hairbrush makes hair static (gives it a charge so that it is then attracted to items that can transfer electrons too)

See Skullian's answer. He's right.
Of more interest, are you brushing your hair to attract someone in particular?
The static electricity built up in the brush, due the brushing action through the hair.
Unless I'm completely wrong, it is the same which attaches a piece of plain regular paper to the hairbrush or comb; STATIC.
The action of the brush going through your hair creates static electricity in the bristles of the brush thus attracting metal objects.

Good
static electricity
Hair becomes electrified when say such as even a balloon is rub on it, the balloon from the static of hair then makes the balloon cling to things. This goes the same for most things rub on the hair.

Try this with a balloon and you get same results, i hoped this help you.
