How do you NOT brush your hair?

My hair is wavy and when i don't brush it it looks bad and when i do brush it it looks worse!!!!

I take showers at night!!!

Plz help??How do you NOT brush your hair?
when you wash out your conditioner, use the coldest water you can stand. this should help with closing your cuticle, also you may want to get joico kpak leave in protectant. it's supposed to help close your cuticle, also. and use a comb and comb it straight down when you get out of the shower. also, if you blow dry your hair, blow it straight down, this will help alsoHow do you NOT brush your hair?
I don't know what you mean by bad and worse, but since you take showers at night, try taking them as early as you can so that your hair is 100% dry before bed. If your hair is long enough you can try putting it back in a loose single braid or a bun while you sleep to keep it from getting tangled. If that doesn't work, try changing your brush. A boar hair brush is good because it makes your hair look more styled, even if you havent done anything because the bristles don't encourage frizz and they distribute nourishing scalp oils to your ends. I found a boar paddle brush at Sally's Beauty Supply for ten bucks and it works great. You can also get a plastic wide tooth comb and spray it with a shine spray before running it through your hair. If you don't use it already, you may want to get a styling product designed for your hair type to use after showering; that can make a big difference.
I would brush it it the middle of conditioning. That way your hair won't get knots or get tangled. I have wavy hair too and when i brush it in the shower it will curl up again and not be frizzy. That and sleeping your hair in a bun will probably make your hair extra curly but it makes my hair easier to manage.
use a comb it is much liter on the hair. You want to take out the tangles though, so comb your hair when you have conditioner in your hair in the shower, and then your hair will be soft and smooth. Then you probably want to comb it in the morning. Combing your hair is the anwser if a brush makes your hair look frizzy, and strange.
After you take a shower, put in some curling gel and shake out your hair and let it dry a bit ( but still damp) . I have mildly curly hair and what works for me is to, after doing that, Put it in a low bun and just go to sleep. When you take it out its nice and wavy and all you need to do is put some frizz control on it and separate the waves to give them move definition, but not too much or it will frizz out.

Works for me, and i hope it works for you!
Can you be more specific? How does it look bad, and what do you want it to do? It is frizzy, poofy, flat, different on one side? What exactly do you want your hair to look like and what are you willing to do, like flat iron...
Use a wide toothed comb when your hair is still wet. Use a moisturizing cream or serum to prevent any tangles %26amp; keep your hair from getting dry %26amp; frizzy.

%26lt;3
just comb through it gently with your fingers as though it were a wide comb but you can control it more how to do it with your fingers. You can pin it up or braid it too.
I take showers at night and have curly hair. I have a spray bottle of water. I wet my hair in the morning to comb it. You can put your hair products in then if you want.
when your in the shower, brush your hair. then when you get out, just ring it out into a towl. it should dry nicely. thats what i do.

-PS. it takes a while to dry
Invest in a flat iron and straighten it.

Or put mousse in your hair and make like 6 braids on your head, and sleep on it. Take them out in the morning.

Buy frizz-control serum.
dont brush it comb it after your shower brushes arent good for wavy and curly hair
run your fingers through it.

use smoothing conditioner.

cut it.

straighten it.

use a wide toothed pick on the ends.

if it's firzzy don't blow dry.
I brush my hair starting at the ends going up to the roots, That is the best way to brush your hair.
That's the same with my hair, just brush it and then about an hour later it looks good. Becuase it starts to get a little messy!
well idk if you blow dry your hair or air dry. but that makes a difference

blow dry if you don't.

as far as brushing.idk. try to trim. maybe its dead ends
it really all depends, but if you want to tame your hair, than just add a bit of mousse :D
Put in leave in conditioner, or softening serum.
Put leave in conditioner when you get out of the shower and use a wide tooth comb.
Get shampoo and conditioner that will help with that. I would suggest Loreal or Suave if you're not going to use salon brand. Good luck :)
Use a wide tooth comb to comb through it. and maybe some type of product to de-tangle it.
blow dry it before you go to sleep or take your showers in the morning, i cant sleep on wet hair or mine is insane
take a shower in the morning and just let it go with out brushing it

i do it often haha and my hair looks fine
comb through it with your fingers

or comb it when it's wet
GET A FREAKING COMB YOU IDIOT
brush ur hair with fire
I have very long beautiful dreadlocks, I haven't brushed my hair since 2004. I get compliments all the time by random people on the street.

Edit: seriously: you all are haters just because you don't know any better. Dreadlocks are often cleaner than your own hair because clean hair locks faster than dirty hair, but you all just give a thumbs down cause you don't know. live a life of ignorance its cool with me!
Cut it.
