When trying to get waves, do you or don't you brush your hair after taking off the durag?

umm i would like to know if you are supposed to brush your hair after taking your durag off when trying to get 360 waves... i have heard both yes and no. plz help!When trying to get waves, do you or don't you brush your hair after taking off the durag?
Really I wouldn't even use the rag because it takes forever to start working. In my opinion the best product is Murrays in a small brown container. Get a Wal-Mart.
