No, its important for you to untangle your hair with a comb when its wet, but its not going to cause split ends... Although, dont use a brush, its more damaging, your hair is the weakest when its wet so i dont recommend tieing your hair up and then going to sleep on it or typing it up when its still wet, you will break the hair off where you tie it, you will notice that and you will notice that knotting will form underneath/in the area where you tie it.... take care of your hair by deepconditioning once a week and making sure to let it loose and breathe everyonce in a while :-)Is is bad to comb/brush your hair when it is wet?

not really. just brush it if its wet. you can cut an inch off of your hair if you want. I did that i don't have split ends anymore.
When hair is wet it's weaker and may break easily so it's not good to comb your hair when it's wet, fingers are the best but if you have to comb use a wide-tooth comb.

My friend is a hair stylist, went to school and worked in shops, all that good stuff....and she has told me when your hair is wet you are to comb thru with a wide tooth comb...you shouldn't brush because it does give you split ends.
